INFINITI's Variable Compression Turbo engine is a real breakthrough for automotive tech. It's been praised since its debut for ingenuity and design, just like it should be. Here, we see the company give a short demonstration on how the engine works. The video illustrates the motion inside of the combustion chamber as it expands under load and constricts while off-throttle. They say it was inspired by a runner's knee, which may be true, but I'm not sure. Either way, this engine is a substantial step forward for improving efficiency as well as performance. Good on you, INFINITI. I like your moxie.
