# Drive Wire: Jaguar Reportedly Working On An F-Pace SVR

At last, Jaguar is entering the world of high performance SUVs. The company is said to be working on a new F-Pace SUV that would compete with the monstrous family haulers from Mercedes, BMW, and all the usual suspects. Jag would most likely wedge their supercharged 5-liter V8 into the SUV, where it would probably be tuned to deliver about 550 horsepower, and the model would likely be badged the F-Pace SVR. Jaguar themselves hasn’t said a word about this, but test car sightings have been reported in Britain.
