# Drive Wire: Hennessey Supercharges a Shelby GT350

Turning to domestic rare-car news, super-tuner Hennessey performance has announced that they’ve taken a Mustang Shelby GT350 and supercharged it to just a bit over 800 horsepower – 808 to be exact. Hennessey achieved that number with a 2.1 liter supercharger and all the associated upgrades, allowing the mustang to hit 60 miles per hour in 3.3 seconds on the way to a 10.8 second quarter mile.
