France, which blessed us with the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the modern auto show and the foundations of democracy, and will not be brought down by the actions of the misguided and violent. Rattled, dinged and a bit roughed up, maybe—but still strong. Still there, resilient, chugging away, full-speed ahead. Indestructible. Vive la France. Heroes.
