Images of the [2016 Mazda CX-9](<https://www.carscoops.com/2015/11/new-2016-mazda-cx-9-suv-this-is-it.html>) have been leaked before the LA Auto Show. No official word on the engine specs yet, but rumor has it Mazda will use a variation of its SkyActiv 2.5-liter four-cylinder.
