# Hero of the Day: Stars, Stripes, Rising Sun

This guy, who loves drifting and America. That’s a Nissan 240SX stripped down to bare frame, with a shortened custom wheelbase, integrated tubular roll cage and a turbo engine swap. The thing’s got 280 horsepower and weighs 1,400 pounds, a Bugatti Veyron-esque power-to-weight ratio. The driver fabricated it himself from spare parts, and now takes it out to amateur drifting events around the Midwest. Japanese metal, meet American ingenuity. Hero.
