# Stolz to Round Out Keating Motorsport Lineup for 2018 Le Mans Bid

After receiving an automatic invitation to compete at the [24 Hours of Le Mans](<https://www.thedrive.com/accelerator/18471/seven-imsa-ran-cars-to-compete-at-24-hours-of-le-mans-in-2018>) in 2018, owner/driver Ben Keating has elected his second and final co-pilot for the French classic. Keating himself will take the reins as the bronze driver with familiar teammate Jeroen Bleekomolen managing the platinum role, and now, it's been announced that 22-year-old German driver Luca Stolz will [complete the lineup](<https://www.thedrive.com/accelerator/17966/keating-partnering-with-risi-competizione-for-2018-24-hours-of-le-mans-bid>) for the team's Ferrari 488 GTE entry.

Stolz was a member of Riley Team AMG’s lineup at the [Rolex 24](<https://www.thedrive.com/news/18030/mustang-sampling-cadillac-takes-overall-win-at-2018-rolex-24>) in January alongside Keating and Bleekomolen. His promising performance seems to have been enough to solidify his spot for the day-long race in June, marking his 24 Hours of Le Mans debut.

“We’re happy to have Luca joining Jeroen and me for the 24 Hours of Le Mans,” Keating, a four-time competitor at the Circuit De La Sarthe, said. “Although he’ll be new to Le Mans, he’s proven himself with us and that he is mature enough to handle endurance racing with both speed and a level head.”

While Stolz may be a newcomer to Le Mans, he's already shown his skill in international endurance competition at races like the Liqui-Moly 12 Hours of Bathurst. He has also driven regularly in the Blancpain GT Series and ADAC GT Masters, rapidly improving in his still very young career.

"I am very honored to be asked to drive with Ben and Jeroen at this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans,” Stolz explained. “It’s every driver’s dream to compete at Le Mans and for me, that’s no different. Although I’m quite young, I have huge endurance racing experience and I feel ready for Le Mans. I’m really looking forward to it.”
