# Video: USAF F-15 Pilots Are High-Flying Maniacs

How intense is the life of a United States Air Force fighter pilot? Think of it this way: Their daily routine is more badass than most people’s entire lifetime. Piloting an F-15 jet capable of hitting 1,650 mph is no joke, and the guys in this video do it with ease. Calmly performing rapid ascents, evasive maneuvers and some inverted *[Top Gun](<https://www.thedrive.com/article/1330/cars-of-the-national-film-registry-class-of-2015>)* action, these pilots from the USAF 173rd Fighter Wing take going to work to a whole new level. Best part: The description calls this a “routine training mission.” When I grow up, I want to be a fighter pilot.
