Released in limited numbers annually since in 1964, the Pirelli Calendar has become an icon of exclusivity and sex appeal. Steven Meisel’s 2015 calendar continued that tradition: It’s super sexy, definitely NSFW, and if you don’t have one in your garage… Well, sucks for you. Thankfully, it’s already time to covet the 2016 edition, and you should expect a very different kind of spectacular.

Back behind the lens for the first time since the 2000 edition, Annie Leibovitz brings her legendary talent, a strong editorial outlook and some unexpected faces to next year’s calendar. Spanning several generations of remarkable and talented women, the upcoming calendar might even become more important to your girlfriend than it is to you.

You’ll know some of the names. Model and philanthropist Natalia Vodianova, tennis superhero Serena Williams, and Peabody Award winner Amy Schumer. Yoko Ono; surely you’re familiar with her, too. But Iranian artist Shirin Neshat? Teenage blogging prodigy Tavi Gevinson? They might not be on your radar yet. And that’s great, because they deserve to be.

Pirelli shared a few behind-the-scenes photos from the studio, so you’ll know just what to look forward to when the calendar debuts in November.
