Watch 7 Aston Martin Vulcans Take Over Circuit of the Americas

Most people will never see an Aston Martin Vulcan in the sheetmetal, let alone flog one around an empty Formula 1 circuit. (No, Forza does not count.)
Luckily, Aston recently organized a little get-together for owners of the $2.3-million track special at Circuit of the Americas, in Austin, Texas. The (presumed) billionaire owners let their Vulcans stretch their legs, ate good food, wore cowboy hats, and talked about whatever it is billionaires talk about. Luckily for us poors, Aston Martin was kind enough to document the occasion. This is what over $16 million worth of British hypercar looks and sounds like:
First unveiled in 2015, the Aston Martin Vulcan was a limited-run track-only affair good for 800 bhp from a delightfully old-school, fire-and-brimstone 7.0-liter naturally aspirated V12. No turbos nor electric motors needed. Just like a real race car, suspension is of the pushrod variety and, much like the ultra-exclusive track toys from Ferrari's XX program, Vulcans can only be driven on manufacturer-approved and -accompanied track days. Unlike the Italians, however, Vulcan owners are allowed to keep the car in their own garage.
Only 24 cars were made, which means the group you see here accounts for almost one third of all the world's Vulcans.
