This guy, who’s towing a ’67 Airstream behind his Nissan Leaf. That’s Tomohisa Gora, an entrepreneur from Hakone, Japan’s hot-spring resort town. Two years ago, he imported the Airstream from San Jose, Calif. It arrived at the Port of Yokohama, and was soon converted it into a mobile eatery, Cafe Ryusenkei. Now, he travels around the country, selling beer and coffee and snacks, stopping periodically to charge up the Leaf. He told me that he loves whitewall tires and torque. Hero.
