The ICON BR is by far better than anything coming from Ford next (or any) decade. It’s just a tad more expensive.

There's certainly a considerable amount of Ford Bronco hype this week. The trend is either going to continue for another two to three years until the next generation is released or the buzz will die down outside of the Bronco enthusiast domain. I just don't believe the new Bronco will live up to the hoopla and think restoring a classic model would best suit a Bronco aficionado.

ICON 4x4 of Los Angeles, California has been creating remixed versions of the early Bronco, which they call the BR, for years and I imagine this will continue for some time. These updated renditions are certainly not cheap and they shouldn't be. Even though they look like their retro counterparts, everything is brand new and improved. Pricing for ICON vehicles start between $160k and $225k but certain one-off models can be upwards of a million dollars. With that in mind, they do have a pre-owned BR for sale on their site for $225k. In the video below, ICON's Jonathan Ward outlines their thirtieth BR build and it's nothing short of amazing.
