Cheap horsepower is every car enthusiasts' dream. If the power will stand the test of time and not kill the car's powertrain, we will always gladly accept more. Demonstrating a solid grasp of this fairly simple concept, Lebanon Ford Performance in Lebanon, Ohio has made quite a name for itself using Ford Performance parts and other upgrades to squeeze extra horsepower out of its Mustangs.

Over the past year, Lebanon Ford Performance has created the LFP 727 and ridiculous 1,200 horsepower LFP Hellion. Both of those Mustangs used the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 as the basic engine. Now, LFP is dabbling with the 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder. Although the torquey engine already makes 310 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque, LFP decided to spike that number up to 550 horsepower with the new LFP 550. Thanks to a bigger turbocharger from Borg-Warner and a Cobb access port with custom tune from VMP Performance, prospective buyers are able to shop for a 550-horsepower Mustang for just $32,995.

The performance package includes: a base EcoBoost Mustang with a manual transmission, EFR turbocharger kit from Borg-Warner, Levels Intercooler, UPR catch can and Cobb accessport with custom tune from VMP Performance

If 2015-2017 EcoBoost Mustang owners want to get in on the action, they can pay LFP $7,699 and receive the same treatment. No word on any suspension, braking or wheel work—but we have to assume quite a few owners will opt to spend a bit more for a few additional track-ready modifications.
