The Evening Rush is your daily roundup of auto, gear, and lifestyle news, all in one place. Less time searching, more time driving. Motor on.

Yesterday, we talked about Ford coming out with a power upgrade for the four-cylinder Mustang; now the carmaker is offering the same package for the Focus RS. The already-monstrous 350-horsepower Focus RS can now score an extra 25 horsepiwer and 70 lb.-ft. of torque with the help of a $699 upgrade.

The Chevy Cruze RS may receive a diesel, according to GM executives. Although exact power numbers are unknown, the Cruze would likely use a 1.6-liter inline four-cylinder. As pictures indicate, GM is going for a “sporty” look and, will most likely couple the diesel engine with a six-speed manual transmission or a nine-speed automatic.

Toyota has recalled a whopping 340,000 Pruises for parking brake issues. This means 92,000 Priuses in the U.S. built between August 2015 and October 2016 will be called in for a fix. According to reports, the parking brake cable can disengage without warning, causing the vehicle to roll.

Installing a doorbell in a “fixer upper” house can be a pain, and financially straining. Rather than biting the bullet and shelling out big bucks, consider a wireless alternative like Ding. Acting as a traditional doorbell with a twist, Ding allows users to mount the low profile button and speaker wherever they want. Plus, users can chat with their visitors using the Bluetooth speaker.

There's something about a waxed-canvas leather duffel that always grabs our attention. The simple-yet-durable design allows users to show off their swag, but not worry about getting it dirty. Bradley Mountain’s Weekender Duffle is perfect for that short getaway or a trip to the gym. Made of martexin waxed canvas and treated leather, this bag will stand the test of time.

“Real world” exercises are an important part of your workout routine. If you find yourself lacking those types of exercises due to limited equipment in your gym, you may want to consider taking matters into your own hands. One of the best way to build out your legs and back is with a sled—and Rogue Fitness is selling a collapsible push/pull sled perfect for all your exercise needs.

Quilted shirts are an essential piece of clothing to carry with you during the colder months; however,  it can be hard to find one that suits your needs. Fortunately, Western Rise does an amazing job of making durable, comfortable, and—dare I say—fashionable outdoor clothing, and its Caribou Quilted Shirt does not disappointed. Made of 100 percent recycled polyester and coffee insulation (seriously), the Caribou Quilted Shirt has a low environmental impact and plenty to offer the avid adventurer.
