We’ll be the first to admit it: We have pretty sweet jobs. But even we get jealous every now and again. For example, when we see how the people creating the Hellcat-powered Ram Rebel TRX got to blast across the dirt at ridiculous speeds.

The Rebel TRX may just be a concept truck, but that apparently didn’t stop Fiat Chrysler’s team from putting it through the ringer. To make sure the 575-horsepower off-road monster was every bit as capable as its giant tires suggest, FCA took the Ram Rebel TRX out for some high-speed blasts in the dirt—and captured it all on video, because it knew the world can't get enough of Hellcat-powered pickups.

The video doesn’t just show the Hellcat-powered pickup blasting across the desert, though. It also takes a quick blast through the creation of the truck, glancing over the design and building process, including the moment when the Hellcat-packing frame was mated to the Ram’s quad cab body in the shop.

FCA also revealed a little more information about the truck’s specs. The Rebel TRX’s Hellcat V8 is connected to an eight-speed automatic and a Borg-Warner transfer case. Suspension travel is up 40 percent compared with the stock truck. Stopping power comes from six-piston 15-inch brakes up front and 14-inch calipers in the rear. And because whoopsie-daisy moments happen all too frequently when hauling ass off-road, the Rebel TRX comes with not one but two spare wheel-and-tire setups mounted in the

Bottom line: If you weren’t psyched about this Hellcat-packin’ off-road monster before, you probably will be after watching this.

Although we’re not sure how you couldn’t have been psyched already.
