The rumors were correct: The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor will be equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 pumping out 450 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft. of torque. Owners will see a mild increase in mpg to 15 city and 18 highway compared with the old V8-powered Raptor. Look for one on your local Ford lot soon, starting around $49,520.
In order to compete with the BMW M2, Audi has decided to bring the 2018 RS3 to America. Packing a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-five, this sporty sedan will crush the pavement with 400 hp and 354 lb.-ft. of torque. That will launch the lightweight sedan to 62 miles per hour in just 4.1 seconds. Expect to see the vehicle terrorizing your local Cars and Coffee in the summer of 2017.
Ram has dropped the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 known as the Hellcat into the Rebel in order to produce a monstrously-powerful off-roader. Although the engine has been tuned down to 575 hp, coupled with Ram’s TorqueFlite eight-speed transmission, the Rebel TRX shoukld easily be able to scoot its way out of any hairy situation. Although this truck is just a concept, we can hope it'll become a production vehicle in the near future.
