The Evening Rush is your daily roundup of auto, gear, and lifestyle news, all in one place. Less time searching, more time driving. Motor on.

Automotive

Spy shots of the Porsche 911 GT2 have hit the web, and although the car is still heavily camouflaged, you can easily tell this Porsche 911 GT2 has some serious aerodynamics. The massive rear wing makes it easy to believe the Porsche 911 GT2 is expected to put down around 620-hp from a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter engine.

Google Maps is getting multi-stop directions for its mobile app. As many of you may already know, Google owns Waze, and although it has no intention of combining the two apps, it's nice to see that little feature crossing over from the traffic-slicing service.

Looking to catch a ride in New York, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Washington D.C? If the answer is yes, then ditch Uber like a bad habit and order the Ghostbusters Echto-1 on the Lyft app. On July 1st and 2nd, you can get a free ride in one of the cities mentioned above in the new Ghostbusters ride as a promotional stunt for the upcoming movie.

Gear

Bring your Home Depot bucket game to the next level with the Dakine Party Bucket. Quickly transforming an old bucket into a cooler and cup holder, it lets you go directly from painting the shed to chilling on the beach in three seconds flat. (Assuming your shed is three seconds from the beach.)

Lifestyle

Today’s beer pick takes us to Alpine Beer Company in Alpine, California. Founded in 2002, this Cali brewery has slowly grown over the years, upgrading to large fermenters as well as a larger pub. However, they haven't lost their passion for craft beer and continue to produce quality suds. If you live in California, we recommend you pick up a Duet IPA.

Patagonia Polo Shirts are next-level comfortable thanks to their organic cotton composition—but they can be a little pricey. Fortunately, Steep & Cheap has the Patagonia Trout Fitz Roy Polo on sale for 35 percent off.
