The new Volvo V90 Cross Country is in the works, as made evident by spy shots showing a heavily camouflaged model. The V90 Cross Country will have in increased ride height for some softroading, and will utilize the same three engine options (all based on a 2.0L four-cylinder) expected to grace the V90.

Chevy is adding an aggressive (and functional) ram-air hood to their Silverado HD series with the Duramax engine. According to Chevy, up to 60 percent of the intake air is sourced through the hood scoop to help improve combustion. In other words, the hood scoop is more than just a sweet-looking addition to the truck.

Japanese officials raided Suzuki headquarters last night to search for documents showing any inaccuracies around that company's fuel economy numbers. According to Suzuki, the inconsistencies stemmed a lack of manpower. Federal officials are in the process of investigating further.
