Inadvisable Winter Sports With A Porsche Carrera 4S

Towing a tube behind your Porsche may sound like fun, well it is.

In watching this video we can only imagine a small German man at Porsche headquarters in Stuttgart being very upset over the result of this video. In our head he's very stereotypically German, sitting in an austere modern office behind a desk made of glass in a perfectly tailored no-nonsense suit with a solid grey tie. In watching this video he slowly stands from his desk and says "This activity is not within the parameters for which we have designed this car. We at Porsche under no circumstances would endorse snow tubing behind the dynamic and comfortable All-New Turbocharged Porsche 911 Carrera 4S, combined fuel consumption 8.9-7.9 liters per 100 km, urban cycle 12.4-10.3 liters per 100 km, extra-urban cycle 6.8-6.6 liters per 100 km; CO2 emissions 204-180 grams per kilometer. This is not appropriate!"

The made up stereotype of a German man is right, Porsches are not rated to tow even one pound (kilogram?), and must be used for long fast blasts down the highway or on dynamic curvy mountain roads. Circulating in small parking lots at crawling speeds to get people to enjoy the Porsche brand in non-traditional ways would just be wrong, wouldn't it? We can't imagine a world where you should be out having fun with the car that you love, sharing the day with your loved ones. Sometimes you just have to throw caution to the wind and do it anyway.
