Drive Wire for July 11, 2015: Fast 8 Filmed Some Amazing Cars in NYC

Today on Drive Wire, The Drive recaps the sizable filming efforts of Fast 8. The production took over a number of New York landmarks this weekend, bringing as many as 40 cars to shuttered streets to film some race and motorcade sequences. While the cast, including Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and Jason Statham, weren't on set, their hero cars were. And the four-wheeled stars shone brightly while they tore around Times Square, down Fifth Avenue and more.
