Yes, that pun was intentional.

The Fast and Furious franchise would be basically worthless if not for the presence of all those speedy, glamorous, and otherwise extraordinary cars. It's a fact. And this recently revealed batch of vehicles from the eighth Fast and Furious movie, currently known as Fast 8, proves the latest installment shouldn't disappoint.

Recently, the franchise posted several pictures to its Facebook page depicting several of the cars being used for scenes filmed on the icy plains of in Iceland. There will be plenty of other cars in the movie—in fact, we saw some last week in an Instagram video posted by The Rock—but for now, this is what we have. That's okay. We can work with this.

First of all: There is a tank. Specifically, this piece of military artillery, a decked-out treaded vehicle known as a Ripsaw, which will be piloted by Ludacris's character Tej Parker.

Vin Diesel's Dominic Toretto, as per usual, gets a rather insane classic Dodge Charger. From the picture, it seems to have something of a wide-body kit, massive HRE wheels, and maybe even bulletproof windows. Bullet holes apparently come standard. Nice touch.

Michelle Rodriguez's character Letty Loretto scores a Local Motors Rally Fighter, which looks to be equipped with studded snow tires, LED light bars, and a red-painted brush guard.

Agent Luke Hobbs, played by the hulking Dwayne Johnson, is partnered with a sand-colored Dodge Ram wearing treads and some sort of massive Ice pick hanging off its tailgate. Any guesses as to what that massive piece of metal might be for?

And Tyrese's Roman Pearce gets a dated orange Lamborghini Murcielago. Seriously, guys? Must be truly rough times for the Fast 8 crew if they couldn't spring for a Huracán or an Aventador.

We will continue to wait impatiently to see what else the new movie will bring. April 14th, 2017, it is.
